Meet Sebastian, The Loner

Sebastian was born to one of the original herd. When he was about one year old, his mother broke her leg badly (probably due to osteoporosis from long-standing malnutrition). SCAS had a veterinary orthopedic surgeon operate on her leg but unfortunately, she died from a common surgical complication a week after her surgery (pulmonary embolism). Sebastian mourned her passing and would not leave his mother's dead body.

Three years later he is a strong boy that still keeps to himself, never taking on a surrogate mother. Occasionally, we see him running with the gang of black boy goats...

Why Sponsor a Goat? Now that you think about it, doesn't Sebastian remind you of your Goth nephew, for whom you can NEVER find an appropriate gift? We'd be happy to help you set up a sponsorship in his honor!

Sponsor Sebastian

What Will It Cost? The cost of maintaining a goat for a month averages $85. This includes food, vitamins, staff costs and vet routine examinations. It does NOT include specific vet visits for emergencies or the costs of housing, property. We ask that goat sponsors commit to a donation of $25 per month for at least six months.

Is a Goat Sponsorship Tax-deductible? Yes, because we are a 501(c)(3) organization, all donations in support of a goat are 100% tax deductible.
