Meet Roicin, January's Goat of the Month:
To New Beginnings!

“Roicin began it all. That’s why she’s on our logo,” recalls Dr. Dojacques, Founder and Executive Director of SCAS (CLICK HERE to read the whole story). 

Roicin is one of our pleasantly plump female Boer goats.  What you see of Roicin on our logo is her charming headdress.  What you don’t see is her blessed bulge.  "Blessed" because Roicin was starving and suffering from hypothermia, and blessed because as Dr. Dojacques tells us, “Roicin began it all.” – all meaning SCAS.  Blessed because SCAS has rescued not only goats and llamas but people.
