Our Mission

At Silver Creek Animal Sanctuary, our mission is to exemplify and encourage compassion for animals and humanity by the provision of a permanent and loving home for ill, abused, and neglected goats and llamas; and to provide a healing and learning environment with these animals for special needs children and adults.

The Board of Directors wishes to thank everyone who worked so hard to make Silver Creek Animal Sanctuary the success it was, and regrets its closing secondary to lack of funding.

An Open Letter to Our Friends

Silver Creek Animal Sanctuary will be closing her barn doors as a nonprofit and would like to thank all her friends, volunteers, intern and sponsors.

We thank you for every belly laugh and every moment of awe that kept you coming back for more...

We thank you for getting up early (on a Saturday!) to come and wrangle goats, load Chaffhaye, and scoop buckets full of poop.

We thank you for your genuine love of all our goats, llamas, cats and Camille.

We thank you for your yearning to spread kindness, one goat at a time.

We thank you for sharing your lives with us and will never forget our time with you on the hillside, a bit of heaven...

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance..." Ecclesiastes 3:1-4

Godspeed.
Troy and Kama, Assistant Directors
